Blue Sky People

After weeks of hard work by (myself and) numerous collegues of mine, we finally launched Blue Sky People today. It’s a fantastic new service for the photographic community. Basically we have been amassing a large database of ‘real people.’ Anyone and everyone is welcome to join (that is if you live in San Francisco or the area). Blue Sky has been the leading destination for commercial photography in Northern California for the past ten years.

I just happened upon the owner about three years ago and we have become great friends. We are both super excited about this new (ad)venture. If you live in San Francisco (or at least in the Bay Area), then you are invited to join our next open casting. Please see Blue Sky People for more information.

Well, after four years of living in San Francisco, my dear friend from high school is finally coming to visit. I pick her up in the morning at the airport. I’m so excited to not only see her, but be able to show her around this great city of mine. It will be loads of fun, I’m sure. Talk to you soon! Ciao.

Sundays and Holidays

I’ve always hated the fact that anytime I need to get something done, the place I need to “get it done” at is closed. Have you ever been in that situation? It sucks. Bah!

So I’ve managed to pull another trick out of my, well, bag of tricks. My photo gallery totally went out the window today. (and it had a very long fall, I might add) I think I tweaked it a little too much. I kept getting all sorts of errors and what not, and being that I’m so new to all of this, I said f*%$ it. I’ll do my own damn ‘gallery’. Tada. I’ve reconstructed the entire photo gallery from scratch. I’m pleased with the results. I feel as if I have complete control over it now. Whereas before, I felt like I was under the control of somebody or something else.

I had the privilege of hanging out with a dear friend of mine tonight. He is so sweet and makes me feel really good. Of course my photo gallery had me in a tizzy earlier. Thank god for Clis. He always makes things right. Thank you, Clis! I’m saddened by the fact that you will be gone soon. But I am also very proud of you.

My big project is due Thursday. I do believe I might just pull it off. A few more alterations here and there, but believe me, you are gonna love what we have up our sleeves. Stay tuned…

Always,
Jon xo
