Sha la la Joseph

Some folks dream of the wonders they’ll do, before their time on this planet is through. Some just don’t have anything planned, they hide their hopes and their heads in the sand. Now I don’t say who is wrong, who is right. But if by chance you are here for the night, then all I need is an hour or two, to tell the tale of a dreamer like you… We all dream a lot. Some are lucky, some are not. But if you think it, want it, dream it, then it’s real. You are what you feel! |
Wow. What an amazing past few days it has been… I think I’ll soon be able to sit down and gather together my thoughts on all that has happened this past week. My friend Abby flew out of Oakland this morning. Abby and I are the type of friends that can go months without talking and still never fall out of touch. We have quite a few deep roots that (regardless of whether we want them to or not ha ha) bind us together. One being… well, Joseph. Already an amazing 12 years ago, we were part of one of Texas’ best marching bands to the tune of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ever since, I have been a huge fan of the musical. And of course, everytime Abby visits there is always a common thread we both pull upon. This time it just happened to be Joseph. I hope it will be in her head like it has been mine for, oh, let’s see? A couple weeks. ha.
I always love when friends and/or family visit the city for the first time. It helps my little brain remember what an amazing city I live in. I often times find myself taking for granted that I live in one of the most coveted places of all time (and for good reason). San Francisco is both amazingly beautiful and full of fantastic things to do and see. While touring this fine city I was able to capture in photo what truly is only really realized through the human eye. Have a look. It’s refreshing to experience that “new” feeling again. Thank you, Abby. ![]()
