This Reality

I wish I wasn’t so tired. Apple this week released new iPods (which are super cool, by the way) and so I was asked if I could go in to work this morning at 6AM in an effort to help complete the floorset before the doors opened at 10AM. I agreed and went. Needless to say, it has left me feeling a bit groggy tonight. I’m sad. There is so much that I would like to (and need to) accomplish, but I know I would not be able to dedicate the time needed to achieve the detail and precision I desire in everything that I do. And so on that note, I am electing to goto bed quite early tonight with the hope of waking up nice and refreshed for the next visit by the sun. It is under those conditions that the work that’s already alive and well in my imagination will be allowed to blossom into something tangible, and yes, strikingly beautiful. (Kind of like the completely remastered iPod nano)

According to today’s horiscope, for me, getting what I want is an art form. And like all great art, the devil is in the details. Today is a great opportunity for me to visualize what I want to draw into my life, but I should be absolutely sure about what I need to receive. Now I’m pretty sure I know exactly what this is referring to. I’m astonished by this astrological stuff. It’s… in a word, fantastic. I do have one more thing that I find to be insanely marvelous. It’s a quote by Phillip Dick and it goes like this: “Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.” Now isn’t that cool?
